The division bench of the great court containing Chief Justice S. Manikumar and Justice Shaji P. Chali noted when certain issues regarding the security of the state are concerned, the public authority is at freedom to decline to restore the authorization conceded, without uncovering the total explanations behind the non-restoration.

The high court on March 2 dismissed the requests recorded by the channel’s administration and writers testing a February 9 single-bench request, which wouldn’t lift the ban.

The division bench saw that in the records delivered before it, there are sure perspectives influencing the public request or the security of the State based on the report of the Intelligence Bureau and other examining organizations.
