Karimnagar: Congress former MP Ponnam Prabhakar has lashed out at the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao saying that the latter was afraid of Congress party’s assurances. In this context, KCR showered sops on Friday to counter Congress party.
Speaking to the media here on Saturday, Ponnam said that KCR was confusing the people by saying that the party will go for early elections and sometimes he was saying that ‘why early elections?’. he said that the Congress party has got josh with the AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi’s tour in Telangana state and it prompted KCR to go for early elections. Ponnam said that they will think seriously on elections after the dissolve of the state government. (NSS)
