Second-hand car showroom in Hyderabad catches fire

Police have said that a fire broke out at a car showroom in Telangana’s Hyderabad district. A massive fire broke out in the garage of a second-hand car showroom in the LB Nagar Police Station limits, according to the police.

“The fire broke out around 9 pm on Tuesday at a second-hand car showroom beside BVK cinemas, LB Nagar, Hyderabad. The loss of property is yet to be determined. No loss of life has been reported. The fire personnel have reached the spot and the efforts are underway to bring the blaze under control,” LB Nagar Circle Inspector Anji Reddy said.

Police have said there were approximately 20 to 30 cars in the garage at the time of the fire. When the fire began to spread, residents called the police, said officials.

Since the cylinders were kept in the garage, the police suspect that loud noises were heard while the fire was raging. More information about the incident is awaited.

Last Saturday evening, a fire broke out in a three-story building housing an LED showroom at Troop Bazaar, causing widespread panic. Four fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the scene, and the fire was successfully extinguished after two hours of intensive efforts.

When bystanders noticed smoke coming from the LED showroom, they immediately called the fire department. Traffic in the area came to a halt as the fire tenders worked to put out the fire.

The Sultan Bazaar police, accompanied by traffic officers, arrived quickly and managed the traffic situation. Police preliminary investigations point to a short circuit as the likely cause of the fire.
