Hyderabad: She Teams of City Police in association with Radio Mirchi 95 FM launched the teaser of the week long campaign against Harassment in public transport, at Bharosa Centre here today. This week long campaign will be held from August 6 to 11, and is in continuation of the Campaign launched by She Teams, on 23 rd July 2018 at Ravindra Bharathi.
During this week long campaign Radio Mirchi RJ Shezzi will be travelling in different modes of public transport and interacting with commuters, bus drivers, conductors, auto drivers, cab drivers and Metro staff. The She Teams will be specially concentrating on public transport during this period. Hyderabad Metro and TSRTC are also associated with this campaign. Talking at the event Ms. Shikha Goel, Addl. Commissioner of Police, Crimes & SIT, stated that Hyderabad is one of the safest city in the world and it is the objective of City Police to make it the number one city in the world as far as safety and security is concerned.
With this campaign we aim to ensure safe and hassle free public transport for women in the City. The teaser launch was attended by team from Radio Mirchi and Sridhar, Dy. Chief Traffic Controller, Hyderabad Region, RTC, besides students from various colleges.(NSS)
