Hyderabad: TRS working president KT Rama Rao today asked the party leaders in Tandur segment to work together to win upcoming municipal polls. “Shun differences. Senior leaders should go with the new leaders as part of strengthening the party in all villages, mandals and districts”, he said.
The party working president also pulled up the senior leaders, including former minister and MLC P Mahender Reddy and MLA Pilot Rohith Reddy for the differences cropped up during the party membership drive in Tandur segment. On coming to know about the differences and both the leaders boycotting the membership meetings, KTR expressed his displeasure and summoned the leaders to the Telangana Bhavan and sought to know the reasons for differences.
“This is the time for coordination with each other for the sake of civic polls”, he told the two leaders at the TRS Bhavan here. KTR also reprimanded the two leaders not to repeat such things. Sort out the problems amicably, otherwise the differences would demoralize the cadre and local leaders, he added. (NSS)
