Six CRPF personnel injured in Maoist attack

Raipur: Six CRPF troopers were injured on Monday when Maoists exploded an IED (improvised explosive device) and opened fire in Dantewada district in Chhattisgarh, officials said.

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) along with the Chhattisgarh Police were on road security duty when the attack took place. The injured men were evacuated by helicopter to a Raipur hospital.
