Hyderabad: Tourism Minister V Srinivas Goud today released a special tourism package for Kaleshwaram project and adjoining locations. He released a brochure of the tourism package at the Secretariat here.
Speaking on the occasion, Srinivas Goud said the State government was keen on promoting tourism in the State and Kaleshwaram was being developed into a major tourism destination. The tourism facility will be effective August 9 and transport and accommodation will be provided to the travelers, he informed.
The package has Kaleshwaram temple, Medigadda barrage, Kannepally pump house, Annaram barrage and 1000 pillars temple, he said. The government has taken a decision to provide transport from Tourism department office and all facilities to the tourists will be provided, he said. Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has completed Kaleshwaram project in just three 3 years while other governments did not complete the projects in 30 years.
KCR has promised to complete Palamur Ranga Reddy lift project, he said, adding that KCR was for promoting tourism and irrigation projects will boost agriculture production. (NSS)
