Hyderabad: Telangana State government has reportedly taken a decision stalling online slot bookings for non-agriculture lands and properties.
The government has invited wrath from a section of people, the real estate community and builders, and opposition parties on Dharani portal services and new registrations. Those who have booked slots can get registration and others are not allowed.
The government began registration on December 14. The government has to stall the registration program followed by high court orders. It has informed that details of the same will be revealed on December 21. This case is to be heard by the court on December 20.
The government is trying to fix technical snags and asked the officials to abstain from collecting Aadhar and personal details. The court slammed the government for insisting on getting the personal details which may cause a threat to security.
They demanded the cancellation of the Dharani portal and continue the previous method of Card registration of the lands and properties. The court has reprimanded the government and asked it to file a counter affidavit on the same in the wake of technical difficulties in this portal.
The High Court has pulled up the government officials on getting personal details of the people during the registration process of the non-agricultural lands and properties.
