HYDERABAD: IT minister KT Rama Rao has launched a bronze PV statue in Khammam town. He stated that the government will install bronze statues of former Prime Minister PV Narsimha Rao in all districts across Telangana. KTR lauded that PV was a consistent student who learned computers and git its knowledge at the age of 70 years. PV Narsimha Rao, he said, was known for his knowledge in as many as 14 languages who deserves the Bharat Ratna award.
KTR asked the youths to upskill and reskill their talents to excel in a career to achieve goals. Telangana government has taken a decision to set up PV statues to mark his birth centenary celebrations in the state. The officials were asked to complete the process to set up these statues immediately.
We are conducting the PV Narsimha Rao’s birth centenary celebrations on a grand scale, the minister claimed. Across the state, India, and abroad these celebrations are being held for one year by the Telangana government, KTR said.
The government gives due respect to the former prime minister PV Narsimha Rao by these programs he averred. He also said that the food processing industry and units to be set up and expand in the districts. The government will take steps for industry and road development in Khammam town.
He announced to develop the Sri Rama temple in Bhadrachalam town and to offer Rs 30 cr special funds from the chief Minister fund for the roads in the town. He appreciated the minister s, MLAs, municipal chairpersons other leaders for efforts to develop.
