Hyderabad: The ACB officials nabbed Wardhnannapet Sub-Treasury Officer, in Warangal district (STO) Thota Vikram Kumar and his junior assistant Shaik Naseha red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000 at his office in the district on Saturday.
According to the ACB sleuths, the STO demanded the bribe from one complainant Veerabathini Sriramulu, a retired EO, PR and RD, to ‘process’ the file pertaining to his pension and gratuity amount and to credit it in his bank account.
According to the DSP S Pratap, the duo was arrested and they would be produced before the Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases, Hyderabad (NSS)
