Telangana Government today urged the Krishna Board officials to stop Pinnapuram power project in Andhra Pradesh. In a letter Engineer-in-Chief (ENC) Muralidhar urged the Krishna Board to stop the illegal projects in Andhra Pradesh state.
The board has to take action to stop this project which has no permission, Muralidhar said in the letter. Apex council and the board did not give permission to the AP Government for the purpose, he observed.
Let the new projects and expansion of the old projects should be stopped forthwith, the ENC said. The official hoped that the Board would stall the illegal works and protect Telangana interests.

As the apex body permission is mandatory the board has to stop the same, he said.
ENC further appealed that the board bring the contents of the letter on AP violations to the Union Jalshakti Ministry and officials.
