Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today informed the Assembly that Gaddi Annaram Fruit Market place near Kothapet in the city would be developed into a super specialty hospital to cater to health needs and provide the space at Bata Singaram area for the fruit market on the outskirts.

After a discussion on the Palle Pragathi and Pattana Pragathi in the Assembly, the leader of the house reiterated that the government is committed to all-around development.  The Chief Minister agreed to conduct an inquiry into the encroachment of Wakf Lands. KCR informed the house that he will order a CBCID probe into the alleged grabbing of Wakf Board lands in the city and the state. We will protect the lands and use the same for the development of the Muslim community by spending funds, he assured.

The government is keen on protecting the encroached lands of Wakf and Endowment lands and use for development, he said.

Once I said that why water logging is seen often during the rainy season at the CM office, Raj Bhavan, and Assembly in the city, he said. The officials later came up with a report that about Rs 15000 crore would require to address nalas and sewage lines and fine-tune the roads as there are many encroachments.  With priority, we will take up the works and the municipal wing is getting ready on that he said.

He informed that on the lines of 350 Basti Dawakhanas in the city the government would soon launch “Village Dawakhanas”.  The officials prepared the guidelines they would be launched soon, KCR announced applause.
