Speaking on the occasion KT Rama Rao asked to use Telugu at the T-Hub functioning and sought more research in the farm sector. He claimed that Telangana is able to achieve its goals in the agriculture and irrigation sectors as the state became the rice bowl of India.

With the support of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar who is of the opinion that new technologies are of no use if not reached out to the common man, he said that the Indians are in the forefront to use new latest technologies. KTR made an appeal to use black chain, robotics, cloud, and drone technologies.

KTR said that the nation has achieved food security though now faces a challenge of nutritious food security to all the people. With the covid-19 pandemic the people tend to get nutritious food to remain healthy and tide over health issues, he stated. In that direction, we support policies and necessary arrangements across the country. The center failed to achieve its target to ensure that the income of the farmers is doubled by 2022. No steps were taken by the Centre in this regard. However, the new state is able to support farmers, besides completing the Kaleshwaram lift project in just three and half years. We are giving rythu Bandhu, 24 hour power, and insurance to the farmers giving a big hope and increasing production, the minister said.

With the chief minister’s support, Niranjan Reddy is developing the agriculture sector as we aim to grow oil palm in about 20 lakh acres. Stating to give priority to Telugu in T –Hub the minister stressed the need for innovation and to encourage all those who come up with innovative ideas.  We have produced 3 crores mt of food grains, a record at the national level as the government supports the agriculture sector besides rising godowns capacity. While every farmer in the state of Telangana gets Rs 10000 per acre for two spells, godown capacity was increased to 26 lakh mt from the previous 4 lakh mt tons, KT Rama Rao claimed.
