Hyderabad: Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today said the TRS was hopeful of winning the LS seats it contested.
Addressing the media here today, Srinivas said his son Sai Kiran was defeated by BJP’s G Kishan Reddy in Secunderabad segment. “We have to accept the people’s verdict as it is final”, he said. “Till the polling day we hoped victory but the results were against us”,he said.
The TRS fielded Sai Kiran Yadav from the segment and he extended thanks to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for giving him an opportunity to be in poll fray. Srinivas congratulated the BJP leader for winning the seat. He also said that the verdict of the people should be accepted by on and all. “However, we will accept the poll results in the way they come”, he said.
The minister also said the TRS was not going to feel bad for the defeat and happy for their victory. Srinivas Yadav also greeted and congratulated BJP leadership and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The minister also greeted YSRCP Chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy for clean sweep in the polls routing the Telugu Desam party, the arch rival of the TRS.
It may be mentioned here that Srinivas Yadav time and again favored the YSRCP victory in the AP Assembly polls. He also voiced the mind of the Chief Minister KCR that the TD will face drubbing in the polls and YSRCP chief Jagan will be new chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.
