TDP, BJP faces Humiliation in Huzurnagar

Hyderabad : National party BJP,  and the TDP headed by Nara Chandrababu Naidu, were put to shame  in the Huzurnagar Assembly be-election, the results of which were announced today.   The nominees of both the parties lost their deposits.  In a most humiliating way, the BJP candidate K Rama Rao could secure only 2621 votes, while the TDP candidates Chava Kiranmayi bagged only 1827 votes.

Apart from the state BJP leaders, the Union Minister of State G Kishen Reddy had also campaigned in the by-election and he mounted a scathing attack against the ruing  TRS and the Chief Minister KCR.  Similarly, the TDP leaders, who also received support from the CPM,  have made several allegations against the TRS Government during the electioneering. But all these vituperative attacks against the Government and  also  the personal criticism against KCR have failed to wean away the people from the TRS. Surprisingly, one Independent candidates had secured more votes than the BJP and TDP candidates.
