Hyderabad : AIMIM Chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi today called upon people to teach a lesson to the BJP and the Congress in future polls.
Speaking at the AIMIM 61st foundation day here, Asaduddin hoped that the TRS and YSRCP are likely to win 35 MP seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, which will be enough to fight at the Centre. He also expressed interest to support the YSRCP in future polls and to campaign in its favour if Jaganmohan Reddy invites him.
The MIM supremo’s remarks have importance as the TRS has supported the cause of the YSRCP in AP and opposed the TDP rule. Welcoming the return of Abhinandan to India from Pakistan captivity, Owaisi suggested that the BJP avoid using it for political gain. He also took objection to Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan for talking about Atom bomb and using Mysore King Tippu Sultan and Moghul Emporer Bahadur Shah. “Pakistan should curb terrorist groups”, he added. He also denied support to terror groups such as Jaish-e-Mohammed and ISIS though they carry Islamic names. (NSS)
