Telangana aims to compete with best in the world, not just in India: KTR

Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao stated that the Telangana government’s Telangana State Industrial Project Approval and Self Certification System (TS-iPASS) policy impressed industrialists in the United States of America (USA). While laying the foundation for the Telangana Toy Park, he stated that Telangana aimed to compete with the best in the world, not just in India.

Rama Rao and Minister G Jagadish Reddy inaugurated several industrial units, including MSMEs, the Industrial Area Local Authority, and the Telangana Industrialists Federation. He emphasized the State’s progress in sectors such as agriculture, power, welfare education, and industries during his address at the Telangana Industrial Pragathi Utsavam.

He emphasized Telangana’s holistic and balanced growth, noting that the state was governed by a people-centric rule. Reflecting on his recent trip to the United States, he mentioned the praise received for the TS-iPASS policy, which penalizes officials for delays in granting permissions. He cited an American industrialist who admitted that no other state in the United States had such a policy. He also mentioned that, despite constituting only 3% of the country’s population, Telangana had received 30 national awards, highlighting the state’s emphasis on welfare and development.

He praised Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for prioritizing drinking water and irrigation, and he applauded Hyderabad’s remarkable growth, which was recognized by renowned actor Superstar Rajinikanth. He applauded Telangana’s uninterrupted power supply, contrasting it with the situation in Gujarat, which had a two-day power holiday as per a letter from Gujarat Vikas Nigam, the State once governed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He praised CM’s vision and commitment to future generations, emphasizing his focus on the next generation rather than the next election.
