Telangana Assembly session begins

Hyderabad: The Assembly session of Telangana state began today. All the members of the house including the Chief Minister of the state KCR and state cabinet ministers took part in the meeting by following Covid 19 guidelines. The Assembly session began at 11 am in the day.

The performance of covid 19 detecting tests has been made mandatory on all those who are attending the ongoing Telangana state Assembly session including the CM, speaker of the house, and the chairman of Telangana state legislative council. The speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy read out the Covid 19 guidelines to all the members as soon as it began. He asked the members to remain in their homes if they are suffering from fever, cough, and cold. He also asked them to wear face masks besides using sanitizers frequently. The House passed a unanimous condolences motion on the death of the former president of India and Bharata Ratna Pranab Mukherjee.

Speaking on the motion, the chief minister of the state KCR said that he was expressing his condolences on the death of Mukherjee. He also said that the country had lost a great leader. He recalled that Mukherjee played a crucial role in running alliance governments. He also said that Pranab had a deep relationship with Telangana state. The Telangana state assembly session is expected to be held for 20 days.
