Hyderabad: Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao today appreciated the officials and staff and workers for their achievements in employment guarantee scheme works in Telangana state.
He released a new year calendar of assistant project officers of the Mahatma Gandhi’s rural employment scheme at his Khairatabad office here. On the occasion, the minister has given a pat to the officials and the workers for their coordinated works. Telangana has set a rare record of completing 18 crores of working days under the scheme.
We have set this regard and the government able to provide employment to the poor workers and coolies he claimed. The minister attributed the record of 18 crore working days under the scheme to the vision of the government.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has asked us to provide continuous employment to our workers and coolies. Most of the works are completed in all villages, he said. Under the scheme roads are being laid, works of the patchwork to the spoiled roads, bridges, cleansing the waste material, and others.
The minister stated that prime minister Narendra Modi, several union ministers has appreciated Telangana for this great record.
I appreciate our workers and staff for the same and go ahead with sane inspiration, he said.
Telangana will continue to offer the work despite the Carona pandemic he added.
