Telangana Govt Receives Praise from Teachers, Students for Improved School Infra

Telangana government received praise from the state’s teachers and students after its efforts to improve infrastructure in government-run schools were recognized.

Azmathunissa Physical Sciences SA said that she is very happy to be working in the school because it has all the facilities, such as subject labs (Physics, Biology, Computer), a library, and a digital class. “All the girls are learning a lot from the classes”, Azmathunissa added.

Faizunissa, a student of the Government High School (girls) 2nd Lancer, Golconda, recalls a science fair. She won a prize for finding the purity of water.

Faizunissa joyfully explains that we took four different types of water and soap in them. We later measured the foam and discovered that borewell water had less foam. She also thanked the Telangana government for providing the school with a very good lab facility.

Firdaus Begam, a class 8 student, praised the government school for providing a Biology lab.

Earlier in July, it was revealed that the Telangana government ran 188 residential educational institutions in English, Urdu, and Telugu for grades 1 through 10, as well as Intermediate and Degree Colleges.

Among these, 69 are exclusively for boys, 103 are exclusively for girls, and 16 are co-educational. In addition to providing free education, the government also provides free uniforms, books, and mid-day meals for students.

Furthermore, it was reported that the government is providing the best computer and science laboratory facilities for students in government schools.

Sania Yusuf, a BJR Golconda college student, said, “I study at BiPC in Urdu medium. I get everything for free and the quality of education is good there. There is a lab facility and the staff is good too. I thank the Telangana government for this.”

Afsa Khan, a Class 12 student at BJR College, thanked the Telangana government for the facilities as well.

Arshiya has been a teacher at BJR Junior College in Golconda for the past ten years. She said, “Education is free. All the students are given free education. The number of students is increasing due to the free admission and free books incentives from the Government of Telangana. It’s very helpful, especially for students from the weaker sections.”
