Telangana govt to release job notifications for 28,000 posts in a week

It has been announced by Finance Minister T Harish Rao that the Telangana government will release multiple recruitment notifications for more than 28,000 posts across different departments. A total of 9,000 posts are available in the Group-IV and Teacher categories.

According to the Minister, multiple notifications have been issued for recruiting over 50,000 posts in the last few months as part of the Chief Minister’s promise to recruit 91,000 employees this year, after distributing new Aasara pensions to beneficiaries in Sangareddy Town on Thursday.

In recent months, the government has issued notifications for recruiting Group-II and Group-III positions.

Over 1.34 lakh posts have been advertised in various departments by the Telangana government in the last eight years, said the Minister.

In contrast, the Minister said that the Union government had failed to fulfill its promise of providing employment to 2 crore people every year. The Centre has completely ignored the unemployed for the past eight years, he said

One-third of all IT jobs in India are created in Telangana

As per reports, Telangana accounts for one-third of all IT jobs that come up in the country. Nationally, approximately 4,50,000 jobs were added in the technology industry during the fiscal year 2021-22. In Hyderabad alone, approximately 1,53,000 of them are produced.

Bengaluru, the country’s largest IT hub, came in second, with 1,48,500 new jobs created in FY22.

Telangana’s outstanding performance in the IT sector has been widely recognized. India Tech & Infra, which tweets industry news, published a post praising Telangana’s performance in the sector. According to the tweet, Hyderabad (first place) and Bengaluru have combined to create more than three lakh new jobs.

Mumbai was third with 54,000 jobs, Pune was fourth with 40,500 jobs, and Chennai was fifth with 22,500 jobs. According to the Quess IT Staffing report, the Delhi NCR and Tier 2 cities created over 31,000 jobs.
