Telangana IT Minister K. T. Rama Rao tested positive for Covid 19

Telangana information technology and industry Minister K.T. Rama Rao has been tested positive for Covid-19.

 

On Friday K.T Rama Rao tweeted that he had been tested positive for covid 19 with mild symptoms.

KTR tweeted “I’ve tested Covid positive with mild symptoms. Currently isolated at home Those of you who have met me last few days, kindly follow the covid protocol, get tested & take care,”

This came five days after KTR’s father and Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao tested positive for Covid 19.

KTR along with Member of Parliament J. Santosh Kumar had accompanied CM KCR on Wednesday to a private hospital where the CM KCR underwent a CT Scan and other general medical tests.

J. Santosh Kumar had also been tested positive for covid 19 on Thursday.

Doctors said that the Chief Minister’s KCR condition is stable and he will recover in a short time. According to the doctors, his lungs are normal and there is no infection in them.

Steps taken by the Govt to curb the spread of Covid 19

Telangana Government issued orders to collect a Rs 1000 fine from people who are not wearing face masks in public places.

As cases of covid 19 are increasing day by day the government has imposed strict orders to wear masks or pay Rs 1000 penalty norms.

The Telangana government had also imposed a night curfew in the state till April 30 to check the spread of Covid-19.

The curfew will be in force from 9 p.m. till 5 a.m. says the Government Order (GO) issued by Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar.
