Hyderabad: Telangana Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao has filed a legal notice to ,conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar vigorously rejecting the claims levelled against him and MLC K Kavitha. Sukesh said that KTR and Kavitha’s friends offered him payments and other inducements to withdraw statements and evidence he submitted to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the Delhi liquor scam.
Sukesh said that he was intimidated and promised Rs 100 crore, land in Shamshabad, and a ticket in the next Assembly elections in exchange for his quiet in a letter dated July 12, sent to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, and the CBI Director. He also claimed to have data on transactions worth Rs 2000 crore and shared images of WhatsApp conversations with MLC Kavitha.
KTR reacted strongly to these allegations, adding that he intends to take “strong legal action” against Sukesh for his unfounded claims. He expressed his lack of familiarity with Sukesh and encouraged the media to exercise cautious while publishing such irrational comments from phoney people.
Sukesh Chandrasekhar, who is presently imprisoned in Delhi’s Mandoli jail on various counts of forgery, extortion, and money laundering, is engaged in over thirty high-profile cases.
