Hyderabad: Telangana on Sunday recorded 1918 new cases of COVID 19 and 10 deaths, taking the total number of cases in the state to 66,677. 10 people have died, taking the total deaths recorded in the state so far stand at 540.
As per the media bulletin released by the director of the Public Health and Family welfare on Sunday 18,547 active cases are recorded in this Telugu State. 1088 people have recovered and discharged from the various hospitals of the Telangana, taking the recovery number 47,590
The no of active cases in the state is 18,547.
Above 60 percent are the men who have contracted with the deadly virus so far and they are in high numbers compare to the women. People were advised to follow the norms of the Covid19. Several organisations are sensitizing the same and asked to wash hands frequently.
According to the bulletin 517 new cases were recorded in the GHMC area, Nizamabad 131, MehboobNagar47, Medchal 146, RangaReddy 181, Warangal Urban 138, Khammam 69, SangaReddy111.
The COVID 19 cases have been increasing day by day in the Telangana, GHMC area recorded maximum cases.
Yesterday the southern state recorded the highest single-day spike of 2,083 positive cases taking the tally of the contagious virus to 64,786 in the state to date.
In neighboring state Andhra Pradesh Coronavirus positive cases continued as a whopping of 9,276 positive cases have been reported in a period of 48 hours taking the tally to 1,50,209 while 58 more patients died taking the death toll to 1,407.
As many as 58 patients of Coronavirus died yesterday taking the death toll to 1,407. Most of the deaths have taken place in Kurnool district (201), East Godavari district (172), Guntur district (141), Anantapur (120), Chittoor district (141) and Visakhapatnam district (113).
