Hyderabad: Telangana on Monday recorded 983 new cases of COVID 19 and 11 deaths, taking the total number of cases in the state to 67,660. 11 people have died, taking the total deaths recorded in the state so far stand at 551.
As per the media bulletin released by the director of the Public Health and Family welfare on Monday the total Corona Cases in the state stands 67,660.
1019people have recovered and discharged from the various hospitals of the Telangana, taking the recovery number 48,609.
According to the bulletin 273 new cases were recorded in the GHMC area, and 73 Cases in Ranga Reddy Dist.
Over a thousand cases being registered regularly in the last few days, however the slight decline in that number today
On-the-spot tests
Meanwhile, the health department has taken steps to provide on-the-spot tests and treatments in view of the severity of the virus in the districts. Conducts antigen tests in all districts to provide immediate results. Established RT-PCR and CBNAT test centers in 7 districts. GHMC has decided to introduce nomadic test vehicles similar to the one. The Department of Health reports that this will help identify victims more quickly and prevent the spread of the virus.
Approximately 40-50 cantonment areas have been identified in each district depending on the cases already registered.
In the meantime, the Health Dept and several organizations have been spreading awareness in the general masses and asked to take precautions.
If you have problems like cold, cough, fever, you should contact a government hospital immediately. Must wear a mask for the face. If you touch any object in public places, If you shake hands with someone must wash their hands clean with soap.
The general masses are asked to be restraint in the homes and come out only if any emergency.
