Telugu States CMs Greet Workers on May Day

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his Andhra Pradesh counterpart YS Jagan Mohan Reddy today extended greetings to the workers on the occasion of May Day. In separate statements, they extended greetings to the working class and vowed to continue schemes for their welfare.

 

The two Chief Ministers stated that the role of the working class is important in the development of the states.  The continuous growth can be attributed to the persistent efforts of the workers and laborers they said.

The world celebrates Mayday in recognition of their services the chief ministers noted.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has said that the workers, farmers and other working-class people offer services for development.

In a release, KCR stated that the workers and farmers are known for the development of the state and the country.

The Chief Minister said that development could be possible due to the hard work put in by the working class. He said that human progress was made from the hands of those who toiled hard.

He said that a vast majority of people are dependent on agriculture-based vocations and a large percent of people are eking out a living by working in several factories and industries. The Chief Minister said that as farmers, farm laborers, hereditary profession workers, the majority of people are contributing to the development and progress of the state and country by their sheer labor.

KCR also said that the Telangana state government, taking inspiration from May Day, is working for the welfare and development of these communities relentlessly.

He said several schemes and programs launched for the welfare of these classes are helping the communities and strengthening the rural economy and they become role models for others in the country. The innovative industrial policy of the state government is also helping lakhs of workers, unemployed besides creating wealth for the State, he said. KCR said that the Telangana government is for the welfare of the working class through various schemes.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who extended greetings to the working class said that the contribution of the workers has no substitute. Jagan Mohan Reddy said that his government will continue schemes for their welfare.
