Hyderabad: A tenant farmer from Bhagavanthveedu village under Kusumanchi mandal of Khammam district Venkatesh, who attempted suicide by consuming insecticide in front of Gandhi Bhavan on Friday, died today at Osmania General Hospital.
Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy condoled the death of the tenant farmer and demanded that the State government extend Rs 10 lakh ex gratia to the bereaved family. He also demanded that the State government to render justice to the tenant farmers. (NSS)
