Anantapuram: The Tadipatri town of the district witnessed tense moments when the supporters of local MLA from ruling YSRCP Pedda Reddy and former MLA JC Prabhakar Reddy clashed with each other.
The MLA has alleged that a man by the name of Kiran was defaming him on social media. Keeping this in mind, the supporters of Pedda Reddy reached the house of Prabhakar Reddy and entered into arguments with his supporters.
They also attacked Kiran who was present at Prabhakar Reddy’s house. He said at that time JC Prabhakar Reddy was not in his house.
The supporters of JC also retaliated and attacked each other. Stone pelting was done from both sides resulting in the damage of some vehicles. The Police reached the spot and dispersed the supporters of the two groups.
The JC supporters also burnt the chair used by Pedda reddy at the former’s residence. It is the first time that such an attack took place on the residence of JC Prabhakar Reddy.
