Three-days celebrations for KCR’s birthday

According to the latest reports, KCR’s birthday celebrations will begin tomorrow and will last for 3 days.

Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) working president and information technology minister KT Rama Rao has called on party cadres to celebrate the 68th birthday of its founder and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on a grand scale for three days beginning from February 15.

Suggesting broad ideas for programmes that could be implemented over the three days, KTR asked the party cadre on Sunday to celebrate KCR’s birthday on February 15 by participating in social service activities such as distributing food, fruits, and clothing to those in need. The blood donation camps will be held on February 16, and the plantation and all religious prayers will be held on February 17.

Furthermore, party activists could participate in the gift a smile programme in whatever way is possible for them to help those in need, as well as other social service activities.

Volleyball tournament

Meanwhile, Telangana Jagruthi, a cultural organisation led by K. Kavitha, is hosting a State-level volleyball tournament for men and women on the occasion of KCR’s birthday. The top three teams would be given prize money of ₹1 lakh, ₹50,000 and ₹25,000 each in the two categories.

KTR to lay the foundation stone for Gateway IT Park at Kandlakoya

In other news, the Telangana state government has decided to build the state’s tallest IT park near Kandlakoya in the Medchal district. The gateway will be built on ten acres for a cost of Rs 100 crore and will be allocated to nearly a hundred companies.

According to government sources, the park will generate more than 50,000 jobs. On the occasion of Chief Minister KCR’s birthday, Minister KTR will lay the foundation stone for the Telangana Gateway IT Tower on the 17th of this month.
