Hyderabad: Telangana State BJP unit president Dr K. Laxman on Sunday hoisted national flag on the occasion of Telangana State formation day.
Speaking on the occasion, he conveyed his greetings to the people of the State on the occasion of the State formation day. He also utilized the occasion to target Chief Minister and his government. Stating that the TRS party was ruling the State by violating all democratic principles, he alleged that CM KCR had turned the State government into his family company. He said there was a need to liberate the Telangana State from the “clutches” of dictator CM KCR and his corrupt government.
The State BJP chief alleged that CM KCR was not holding the Telangana Liberation Day on September 17 due to fear of MIM party despite the fact that KCR had promised to do so during the separate State agitation. He said the time has come for the people of Telangana to launch fight against CM KCR in the State. He also alleged that the dreams of the people of the State were not fulfilled even after five years of the formation of the Telangana State. He said pubic debt of the State had gone up by Rs.1.8 lakh crore during the last five years from Rs 60,000 crore in the last 60 years. He said the BJP would fight on behalf of the farmers, students and other oppressed sections of the State. (NSS)
