TITA GC unanimously support Sundeep Makthala as its Global Chief

HYDERABAD: Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) Global President Sandeep Kumar Makthala received unanimous support from the members of the Association Governing Council.

When the opinion of techies has sought ahead of the election for the Governing Council, and the constitution of various committees, the techies expressed their complete support to Sundeep Makthala. The Association received nominations from 22 countries for the appointments in the Global Committee and other committees of the Association. Martha expressed happiness over the massive support for his candidature to lead the Association.

The term for a Global Committee ended on December 31, 2020. The Association invited nominations for various working committees across the Globe and received a huge response.  Over 1,000 applications from 22 countries were received. The huge response is a sign of faith that techies have in TITA, opine experts. Associations NRI Chapter, Faculty Chapter, Startup & Innovation Chapter received a huge number of nominations.

Though Sundeep Makthala was elected as the Global Chief of the Association for the 2018-2022 term, he sought the opinion of the Governing Council over the leadership issue and sought their opinion. During the voting, all members supported and rallied behind Makthala and urged him to lead the Association as Global President.

Association members later elected Rana Pratap Bojjam as Global Vice President, Ashwin Chandra Vallabhoju and Naveen Chinthala as Global General Secretaries, Ravi Lella as Treasurer, other office bearers of other committees will be declared in the coming week.

Speaking on the occasion Sundeep Makthal said that the unanimous support for his candidature has increased his responsibility as a Global Chief of the Association. TITA’s initiatives during the Covid-19 pandemic like TConsult, Telangana Early Coders (TeC), Covid 19 Hackathon projects, and the subsequent national recognitions like PM Mann Ki Bath, Skoch Awards for these initiatives have boosted the morale of the Association. Makthala promised to come up with more such initiatives in the coming years.
