TPCC Chief Demands Govt to Supply Uninterrupted Power to Farm Sector

TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy today demanded the state government to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the farm sector of the state until the crop cutting works are over.

He said that the farmers of the state were suffering a lot due to the frequent power cuts to the farm sector on Thursday. He said that the power cuts had troubled the farmers a lot and added that CM KCR had destroyed the power sector with his wrong policies.

Taking to his official Twitter account, Revanth Reddy alleged that CM received huge amount of commissions in the purchase of the power.

Meanwhile, the CMD of the TS Transco and TS Genco D. Prabhakar rao responded on the issue and agreed that the power supply was abruptly stopped in some places of the state and added that the agriculture sector faced some problems due to the same . He said that they would now ensure the supply of 24 hour long uninterrupted power supply to the farm sector and urged the farmers to not worry about it.
