TPCC Chief Demands KCR to Distribute Podu Land Pattas by September 17

TPCC chief Revanth Reddy today demanded Chief Minister KCR to distribute the pattas related to podu lands to the tribals of the state before September 17 of the next month.

He also demanded the CM to give ₹10 lakh to all eligible Dalit and tribal families of the state.

Reddy wrote an open letter to the CM and condemned the arrest of the tribal women from the Khammam district. In his letter, he alleged that the KCR-led state government had not fulfilled even a  single promise made to the Dalits and tribals of the state.

He alleged that the state government has in fact took away the rights of the two communities. He said that the CM had not fulfilled his promises like making a Dalit leader as the CM of the state and provision of 3 acres land, 12 percent reservations to the tribals, And allocation of ₹10,000 crores in the budget.

He alleged that the state government was behaving in a careless and ignorant manner about the Dalits and the tribals of the state ever since it came to power in the year 2014.

Reddy demanded the CM to give funds to all ITDAs of the state and warned that the Congress party would intensify its agitation against the state government if it failed to fulfill its demands.
