Hyderabad: The TPCC workers and activists of OU JAC and Unemployed JAC on Friday held a hunger strike in front of AICC office demanding Congress president Rahul Gandhi to withdraw his resignation.
The activists urged Rahul Gandhi to serve the party as its president in the days to come. TPCC State general secretary K Manavata Roy led the agitation in the national capital. The Telangana BC JAC chairman B. Hanumantha Rao, TPCC State Secretary K Venkatesh, Telangana Students’ JAC chairman O Krishna, OU JAC leaders P Nagaraju Yadav, Telangana Congress leader Solomon Anand Raj, Unemployed JAC leaders B Srinivas also sat in the hunger strike. The Congress leaders from Bihar and Noida extended their support to the Telangana activists at the party office.(NSS)
