TPCC president promises 2 lakh govt jobs if Congress is elected to power

Following Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s announcement to fill 83,039 vacancies in various government departments, TPCC president A Revanth Reddy promised notifications for two lakh jobs if the Congress party was elected to power the state.

Not limited to job offers, he further stated that four women would be appointed to Ministerial berth in the State Cabinet if the Congress party forms the government.

Addressing the party’s Mana Ooru Mana Poru meeting at Kolhapur on Sunday, the TPCC president stated that sufficient water would be provided to 20 lakh acres in the erstwhile Palamuru district.  He promised that the Congress party will complete all pending irrigation projects, including Kalwakurthy, Nettempadu, Bheema, Koil Sagar, Jurala, and others, as soon as they came to power.

Revanth Reddy stated that Valmiki Boyas will be classified as an ST and that the SC classification would be taken up.

Furthermore, Revanth Reddy claimed that the TRS Government had failed to complete any of the irrigation projects in the combined Mahabubnagar district in eight years and had also failed to keep its word on rehabilitating the families displaced by the Srisailam project by giving one person from each family a government job.

He named all TRS MLAs and MPs from the combined Mahabubnagar district and referred to them as useless fellows. He further said that the Chief Minister’s hospital visit for a check-up was used for publicity in order to win public sympathy.

“There is only one answer to all of these problems: elect 14 Congress MLAs in the erstwhile Palamuru district and Congress contestants in Telangana,” he said.

The TPCC president stated that he would visit all 119 Assembly constituencies in the state in order to return Congress to power with a resounding victory. “Be patient for the next 12 months; we will be back in power and all issues will be handled,” he said to the gathering.
