Traffic Police issue challan after citizen shares video of kids in car boot

A Twitter user, outraged by the irresponsible behavior of guardians, shared a video of children sitting in the trunk of a car. The Cyberabad traffic police quickly issued an e-challan to the vehicle.

On Monday, a Twitter user known as ‘Soncho Zara’ shared a video of three children, one girl, and two boys, sitting in the trunk of a moving car. While the adults were seated inside the car, the children were seen playing with a toy.

“How irresponsible parents they are?” the video was shared. “Please review sir and take action (sic),” they wrote, tagging the relevant official handles.

In response to the tweet, Cyberabad Traffic Police confirmed the license plate and issued a challan.  “Sir, Your information has been verified and E-Challan has been generated. Thanks for joining hands with Cyberabad Traffic Police in improving road safety,” they wrote in reply.

While the video shows the kids having a good time, the question is whether they are safe to be there. Netizens reacted similarly, railing against the adults in the car’s carelessness.

“Arrest the parents for endangering the children’s lives.” Parents should have known better. What kinds of lessons do they teach their children? Irresponsible parents will raise irresponsible children who will grow up to be irresponsible citizens. Ban the parents from driving for 5 years. (sic),” one user wrote.

Telangana woman miraculously escapes death when speeding car rams into auto-rickshaw

A woman narrowly escaped death when a speeding car collided with an auto rickshaw parked on a busy road in violation of traffic rules. The car collides with the auto-rickshaw as the woman walks past the scene.

The fact that the woman was not crushed to death is clearly visible in the video. On Thursday, Indian Police Service (IPS) officer VC Sajjanar shared the video on Twitter.

The IPS officer sent a clear message about road safety in the caption: “Narrow escape, but how long do we rely on luck?” “On the road, be responsible,” he wrote.
