Tragic Traffic Accident Claims Lives of Four Family Members in Hanamkonda

On Sunday, a tragic traffic accident occurred in Hanamkonda near the Patthipaka crossroads, within the Athmakur police station limits. The event featured a head-on collision between a tipper truck and an automobile, killing four family members and injuring two others.

Anumula Narasimha Swamy (50), Veldhendi Sambaraju (42), Veldhendi Akanksha (26), and Veldhendi Lakshmi Prasanna (6) were recognised as the deceased. The injured people, Anumula Rajasri (50) and Anumula Akshitha (20), were transferred to MGM Hospital in Warangal for treatment.

The family, who were originally from Kashibugga in Warangal, were heading home after visiting the Medaram Sammakka-Sarakka shrine in Mulugu district’s Tadvai mandal. The accident is being investigated by local officials, including Athmakur Inspector Bandari Kumar, and a case has been filed. The community is mourning the loss of family members and praying for the injured to heal.
