Trinamool Congress Promises Rs 5000 To Every Woman Head Ahead Of 2022 Assembly Polls

The Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Saturday made a significant pre-poll promise in Goa ensuring the installment of Rs 5,000 to each lady head of the family, assuming the party comes to government in the 2022 state Assembly polls.

As per the party’s Lok Sabha MP Mahua Moitra, the plan, which has effectively been carried out by the party in West Bengal, would help almost 3.51 lakh families in the seaside state.

“The ‘Griha Laxmi’ drive is a spearheading and groundbreaking plan for individuals of Goa. The plan has effectively been carried out in West Bengal,” Moitra said on Saturday.

“The month-to-month benefit of Rs 5,000 will be made accessible through direct advantage cash move. As numerous as 3.51 lakh families will be covered under the plan,” Moitra said.

She likewise said that the plan would be widespread in nature independent of standing, local area or monetary rules.
