Hyderabad: Women and her parents had given a complaint to LB Nagar police under Rachakonda police Commissionerate alleging that her husband has given her Triple Talaq and threatened her to kill. Against the accused Abdul Samee and LB, Nager police registered a case.
In September 2017 Abdul Samee married his wife after some months of marriage the couple with there family moved to Hyderabad from Mahbubnagar District. After moving to Hyderbad Abdul Samee and his family started harassing her physically and mentally. He supposedly sexually abused his wife and his family members were demanding more dowry from her.
In June 2018 Abdul Samee’s wife gave birth to a child and returned to Abdul Samee’s house. When she came she got to know that her husband and in-laws stole her gold. When she asked them about the gold they thrash her and she got injured. Abdul Samee locked his wife in the room for almost three months during this time he did not let her communicate with anyone. Abdul Samee along with his family members continued to beat her up and asked her to divorce him.
On March 25th Samee fought with his wife over divorce issue and told talaq three times and send her back to her parent’s home. The woman got beaten up by him and his family members a number of times due to which she had to undergo leg surgery. Women’s parents tried to solve this matter but Samee threatened to kill them. Based on this,woman along with her parents filed a complaint and police had registered a case against Abdul Samee under section 4 of Muslim Women Act 2019.
