TRS leaders were fined by the GHMC for putting out flexies of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at the TRS party’s plenary on Wednesday at the HICC.
In addition to fining Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, MLA Danam Nagender, TRS general secretary Kaleru Venkatesh, Corporators, former Corporators, several other TRS leaders were also fined for putting up banners and flexis, which were imposed by the Enforcement, Vigilance and Disaster Management (EVDM) of the GHMC.
A fine of Rs. 1 lakh was imposed on TRS Leader Shaik Hameed. TRS leader Srinivas Yadav Erragulla was fined Rs. 50,000 for putting up banners in HiTec City. Leaders were issued e-challans by the Central Enforcement Cell (CEC).

Over flexis Mayor Sudha Rani fined Rs 2 lakh
Similarly, Mayor Gundu Sudha Rani was fined Rs 2 lakh by the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC) for putting up banners and flexis without permission recently.
Before IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao’s visit to Warangal, TRS workers put up banners and flexis with photos of him, the Mayor, and other leaders. Banners and flexis were displayed in Hanamkonda, Warangal, and Kazipet.
As a result, GWMC officials served a notice to Mayor asking her to pay a fine of Rs 2 lakh. A fine of Rs, 50,000 was also imposed on TRS leader G Keshav Rao by the civic body.
KTR has expressed his displeasure over the flex banners, but Warangal is mushroomed in them because of his visit. Why are the municipal authorities not looking into this? Request concerned authorities to take stringent action, a netizen known as Santhosh Manduva had tweeted.
