TRS playing with sentiments: Shabbir

Hyderabad: Senior Congress Leader Mohammed Ali Shabbir today slammed TRS for demanding to clarify the stand on Re-organization Act of 2014 without having clarity on their own.

Shabbir Ali, addressing the media at the CLP today, said TRS Party was working for their personal gains rather than the State’s interest. Even after four-and-a-half years, the TRS did not discuss the Re-organization Act in any of the platform and now they are crying. The Congress party having clarity and stand by all the issues mentioned in the AP Re-organization Act, which includes Railway Coach Factory, Bayyaram Steel Factory and 4,000-MW Power Projects and all other issues given in the act, he said.

The special status to Andhra Pradesh was a major demand during the bifurcation, which will be fulfilled by the Congress. He said the TRS was taking a U turn as during the bifurcation debate KCR told that we want Telangana and will not have any objection whatever the benefits given to Andhra. What happened to that, he questioned.

CM KCR praised the Andhra people during Municipal Elections and attending Marriage Functions of Andhra Leaders by using special Aircraft and TRS Women MP Protesting and carrying play cards along with Andhra MP’s in Parliament, he said. (NSS)
