Telangana Power Minister G Jagadish Reddy today criticized Congress and the BJP for undermining the local bodies.
The TRS candidates will win the MLC polls in local bodies’ quota, he hoped.
The Minister slammed the opposition parties for a misinformation campaign on the government. The government implements schemes for farmers, poor, and women with huge funding, he said.
No other states are able to implement such programs of welfare and people are happy with the welfare schemes and support the TRS in the polls.
Just by winning a single seat will do nothing, he said, adding that the congress has lost confidence among the people.

The minister accused the opposition parties of coming in the way of development programs.
The Centre is confusing farmers on paddy, rice stocks and burdened the people with fuel and gas charges, the Minister said. The TRS leader stated that the KCR Government is fighting with the Centre on the paddy, rice stocks.
The Centre dumped the farmers and repealed three farm laws for polls in some states, he said. Though the people will not support the BJP government for its lopsided policies, he said.
