The Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EdCET) 2022 notification for admission to two-year BEd courses in colleges of education for the academic year 2022-23 was released.
TSCHE officials, including Chairman R Limbadri, Vice Chairman V Venkata Ramana, TS EdCET 2022 Convener, A Ramakrishna, and Co-Convener, Prof. P Shankar, released the schedule.
Registration will begin on April 7 according to the schedule.
The entrance test will take place on July 26 and 27 in 19 regional centres, including 17 in Telangana and two in Andhra Pradesh (Kurnool and Vijayawada).
Until June 15, candidates can submit online applications on the website without paying a late fee.
Registration is open until July 1 and 15, with a late fee of Rs.250 and Rs.500 respectively.
For registration, the fee is Rs.650 (Rs.450 for SC/ST/PH) which can be paid to TS Online/AP Online/Payment Gateway.

ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES: Candidates with bachelor’s degrees, i.e., BA, BCom, BSc, BSc (Home Science), BCA, BBM, BA (Oriental Languages), BBA or master’s degree, with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate marks, are eligible to apply.
For applicants with a bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology, they should have 50 per cent aggregate marks or any other qualification equivalent to that.
Candidates from reserved categories, namely SC/ ST/ BC, and other reserved categories should have secured at least 40 per cent marks in the qualifying exam.
The entrance test is also open to students appearing for the final year degree exams.
INELIGIBLE CANDIDATES: Candidates having MBBS, BSC (AG), BVSC, BHMT, BPharm, and other professional and job-oriented degrees such as LLB are not eligible to apply.
A candidate with a master’s degree without having completed undergraduate study is ineligible for admission.
