TS gets 5 oxygen plants under PM Cares Trust

Hyderabad: In a development, five medical oxygen generation plants have been sanctioned to Telangana state from the Centre.

This will boost emergency health services in the state under  Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PM CARES)  Fund Trust the center has allotted five oxygen generation plants to the state.  The center has allotted as many as 162 such plants across the country including five plants to our state. 

The center has allocated Rs 201.58 crore for the oxygen plants in the country to push health services ahead. The union health ministry will take up the exercise of plants installing in the states. 

The ants have 154.19 metric tons capacity will be set up in 32 states, and union territories. 

The oxygen plants to be set up in the state including – Osmania General Hospital,  Fever Hospital in Nallakunta,  Sarojini Devi hospital in Mehdipatnam, King Koti, Chest hospitals in Hyderabad, and MGM Hospital in Warangal district respectively.
