Hyderabad: Telangana Munnuru Kapu Associations JAC has requested the State Government to constitute Munnuru kapu Corporation and allocate Rs.5,000 crore for it, for the welfare of the community.
Speaking to the media at NSS here today, JAC Chairman Dr Konda Devaiaha said the State Government should take special interest in the development of the community which remained backward in all aspects in the earlier united Andhra Pradesh state. He said that all eligible persons of the community should be provided with double bedroom houses, and farmers who had completed 50 years of age be given pension facility. Political reservation also should be provided rot he community from village to Parliament levels.
They said that they are organizing a seminar to discuss the problems being faced by the community, at Champapet here on August 12. Alladfi Geetha, Punjala Anuradya, Bandi Padma, Mangalarapu Laxman, Gandham Narsing Rao were among the leaders present at the media meet. (NSS)
