The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) held a wonderful Raksha Bandhan lucky draw prize presentation ceremony at the MGBS bus terminus in Hyderabad. During this event, which took place on Friday, September 8, 33 ladies were the lucky recipients of monetary prizes. TSRTC’s managing director, VC Sajjanar, presented the awards.
This lucky draw effort received a massive response, with about 3 lakh female passengers taking part. According to Sajjanar, the winners came from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences, but they all had one thing in common: they had been regular RTC bus riders for several years.
TSRTC has planned to make such lucky draw events a yearly tradition, with plans to hold them around the Dasara, Sankranti, and Ugadi festivals for people who purchase their tickets in advance online.
Raksha Bandhan lucky draws were held across the state on August 30 and 31, with cash prizes of Rs 25,000, Rs 15,000, and Rs 10,000 awarded for first, second, and third place, respectively.
