TSRTC to provide buses on hire during Maha Shivratri

As per the latest reports, The TSRTC announced that it would provide buses on hire during Maha Shivratri

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation announced on Friday that it will offer its buses on hire to private parties visiting Shiva temples across Telangana on Maha Shivratri, which takes place on March 1.

People interested in hiring the services can call 040-3010 2829/040-6815 3333, according to TSRTC vice-chairman and managing director V.C. Sajjanar. Nonetheless, there must be over 30 passengers on a trip.

The Shiva temples in the city and across the districts including the Kesaragiri Kshetram at Keesaragutta will be teeming with a large number of devotees on Maha Shivratri. All preparations are being made for the jatara scheduled to take place in Rajarajeshwara Swamy temple, Vemulwada, from February 28 to March 2.

In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, district administration and temple authorities have taken all precautions to contain the virus epidemic and put more emphasis on hygiene.

Sircilla Collector inspects Maha Shivaratri jatara preparations In Vemulawada

District Collector Anurag Jayanthi on Wednesday said all preparations are being made for Maha Shivaratri jatara scheduled to take place in Rajarajeshwara Swamy temple, Vemulwada, from February 28 to March 2.

The Collector, along with Superintendent of Police Rahul Hegde, paid a visit to the shrine and inspected the preparations for Jatara. He inspected the Thippapur bus station, Mulavagu area, bypass road, traffic junctions, parking location at temple tank, Shivarchana programme site, temporary bathing showers, toilets, queue lines, and other facilities. Enquiring about the preparation by conversing with officials, the Collector gave some advice.

Anurag Jayanthi, speaking on the occasion, stated that all arrangements were being made for the convenience of devotees. He directed officials from the R&B department to finish the ongoing bypass road work by Friday.

He urged Municipal Commissioner Shyamsunder Rao to give special attention to sanitation in the town, and he directed officials to provide all facilities to pilgrims at the bus stand.

He directed officials to ensure that water was supplied to temporary bathing showers and toilets set up for the convenience of devotees. He also wanted the officials to arrange drinking water.
