Hyderabad: Following a request from the TSWRIDCL Managing Director, the State government has accorded permission to utilize an amount of Rs 2,638 crore of REC sanctioned amount as Government Margin money as per needs of the Corporation.
Rs 10,000 cr loan for PRRLIP approved.
Similarly, the State government accorded approval for borrowing additional Term Loan of Rs 10,000 crore from Power Finance Corporation Ltd, including IDC for construction of EM&HM components and associated works of Pumping stations, including Transmission lines and sub-stations for implementation of Palamuru Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme.
The Kaleshwaram Irrigation Project Corporation Limited (KIPCL) shall pay the guarantee commission @ 2% consolidated for the entire Guarantee period and shall remit the amount to Government. The State government issued orders constituting Kaleshwaram Irrigation Project Corporation (KIPC) to plan, appraise, approve, release funds, implement, manage, operate, monitor and evaluate the Kaleshwaram Project.
Rs 1,500-cr NABARD loan for Kaleshwaram
The KIPC Managing Director requested the government to accord approval of loan sanctioned by NABARD for an amount of Rs 1,500 crore (Plus IDC) towards construction of balance works of Package-12, Pkg-12 Feeder channel and Pkg-13 of the Kaleshwaram Project. (NSS)
