Hyderabad: The Telangana Telugu Desam Party TDP plunged into election mode ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The party has convened a meeting of all its important leaders and district party presidents to devise strategy to face the elections. The meeting has decided to go ahead with the elections by correcting the mistakes committed during the last Assembly elections that led to the defeat of the party. The meeting was chaired by State party president L. Ramana at the party headquarters here.
Speaking on the occasion, Ramana asked senior leaders of the party and the district party presidents to give suggestions for preparation of an action plan for the upcoming parliament elections. He told the party leaders that the action plan prepared by the State unit would be placed before the national party for its approval. (NSS)
