Ukraine Celebrates Day Of Unity Amidst Crisis With Russia

As per the latest reports, Ukraine praised the national Day of Unity to merge individuals in the midst of the approaching emergency in the country. In a broadcast address to the country on Wednesday, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukrainians are unique, yet they all are joined by the craving to live in harmony, joy and with their friends and family.

“We are completely joined by one longing: to live in harmony, cheerfully, as one family, with kids, with guardians. Furthermore we reserve each privilege to this. Since we are at home, we are in Ukraine,” Zelensky said. In the interim, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that Ukrainians mark the Day of Unity to show the “companions and adversaries” that Ukraine is joined even in tough situations.

“Ukrainians have dismissed their disparities and are joining despite potential dangers. For a fruitful future. We know how to do it, and our solidarity is our best weapon,” Shmyhal composed on his authority Telegram station.
